YuppTV live streams the Asia Cup 2023 beginning tomorrow.

The sixteenth edition of the Asia Cup is all set to commence tomorrow, 30 August 2023, at 3 p.m. in Multan. The series begins with a clash between host Pakistan and debutant Nepal. A landmark day for Nepal, it will be their first encounter against Pakistan in any format. While Pakistan is brimming with confidence after topping the ODI team rankings, Nepal looks to put up a competitive fight. Watch the Asia Cup live on YuppTV and catch all the excitement.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka co-host the 2023 Asia Cup, joined by Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, and Nepal fighting for supremacy. The championship will have six group matches, six Super 4s, and a blockbuster final. Colombo will host the final game of the series on September 17. Set up in 1984 in the ODI format, the championship has alternated between ODI and T20 formats since 2016. The 2023 edition is an ODI (50-over) competition. Four venues in Pakistan and Sri Lanka will host the only continental championship. Multan and Lahore will hold the four matches in the Pakistan leg of the tournament, whereas Sri Lanka games are conducted in Kandy and Colombo.


While the campaign opener favors Pakistan, it will be a memorable day for the Nepal team. A marquee event like the Asia Cup will strengthen the team morale and help them to make a mark in the cricket world. Nepal qualified for the Asia Cup after winning the ACC Men's Premier Cup this summer. Nepal defeated teams like UAE and Hong Kong, who appeared in the Asia Cup earlier. Also, the team qualified for the ODI World Cup qualifiers with 11 wins in their 12 games. However, the team must sweat out to give tough competition to the Men in Green. 

To face Nepal, which plays its maiden Asia Cup, will be a cakewalk for the Pakistan team. Babar Azam-led Pakistan is riding high on confidence from their top spot on the ODI rankings. However, Pakistan knows it shouldn't take any team lightly in the glorious game of uncertainty. Pakistan will use this opportunity to prepare for the big game on September 12 against India. Cricket fans across the globe are anxious to witness this epic clash.
