India will avenge the humiliation in the previous edition of the Asia Cup.  

If everything goes well, unlike the last year, this Asia Cup has all the fair chances to witness three intense clashes between India and Pakistan. While India has a solid batting lineup, the bowling seems a bit of a concern for Rohit Sharma. Pakistan has a strong bowling unit with pacers like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah. KL Rahul is yet to prove his fitness after sustaining a thigh injury during the Indian Premier League 2023. He underwent surgery in London in May 2023 and currently undergoing rehabilitation phase at the NCA, Bengaluru. Rohit Sharma must find a perfect alternate for KL Rahul and the injured Rishab Pant. However, team India has opener cum wicketkeeper batsmen Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson to replace KL Rahul and Pant.

While the Pakistan team has already announced their squad, Team India is yet to declare the side. The Men in Green are busy with the Lanka Premiere league and prepping well for the Asia Cup. Though India has many potential options, it will be exciting to see what Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid have in mind.
